The global oligarchy is now engaged in profoundly inhuman behavior, and is thus best regarded as inhuman. Certain dangerous trends in biological and medical research indicate that with all the rationality of a suicidal drug addict, its members are on a path that threatens to eradicate the human species by irreversibly contaminating the human genome. As usual, their primary motives are to maintain or increase their own wealth and power. But beyond that, their motives seem even less benign: to (1) eliminate the free resistance-capable human population while (2) "reengineering" those humans who remain, possibly hybridized or "chimerized" with other species, as remote-control golems via the "Tech Singularity".
