Very well done. There is nothing dishonest about this.

Brilliant, Chris! C.S. Lewis would be elated to have a “Screwtape Letters” v2 for the current masses! Bravo!!!

I’m a bit confused. Can someone explain to me what ‘method in madness’ is?

It means that when you see something that looks totally crazy under your current assumptions about how the world works, you should immediately ask yourself why it might be happening. This starts with the question "Cui bono?" (Who benefits?) Some of your assumptions may need to be questioned.

If I ask myself why it might be happening and who benefits I see clearly who that is.

“...examine the possibility that they who benefit the most have the wealth, power, and motivation to deform the information landscape and hide their responsibility.”

The Day of the Lord video helped, so that we must remain alert to the warning contained in the scripture not to let it get so bad that God will back-engineer the past and produce a global wipe.

I now have the courage to face up to these times. I have more sanity now.

Could method in one’s own madness perhaps mean something like Carl Jung’s active imagination because that would be the method. The madness part, well I am stricken with madness. Might putting down writing, drawing and/or painting in a beautifully bounded book bring about a cure? I know there are other methods too nevertheless they tend to be systems which means if I want to remain independent in myself I can’t afford to stick with those systems, whereas Jung’s A.I is strictly a method.

Thank you for answering. If what you described is method in madness and I do understand it, what then is ‘sanity’, I’m a little confused what people mean by that word and ‘rationality’ also, would appreciate it if you could define it because I’m probably not the only one who would benefit from a proper explanation.

Never-mind. It seems that apply method in madness and recognise your sanity!

Let me rephrase that, understand that there is method in madness and you will recognise your sanity.

Well, my assumption about being able to follow truth (or bliss) and money just hit the fan. Also, another assumption about there being some form of meritocracy has also hit the fan e.g. the just world hypothesis. Ah, as long as I have my bliss (truth) that means more to me than money. Maybe I’ll go the hard way like you because there is meaning in it, namely following your bliss or love of truth.
