Actually, their circumstances were quite different. Here are a few points: Owen actually received multiple warnings prior to his deplatforming. They deplatformed Chris for "using Patreon to fund an off-platform project that promotes hate-speech" against a "protected group". They could/would not produce an example of the hate-speech or identify the project or the "protected group". I suspect "the project" was Gab, but there really is no hate-speech there against anyone but the parasites (read "protected class"). They also deplatformed his wife's page for their benign nonprofit for the same nebulous reason. Additionally, since the OB fiaso, Patreon changed their terms of service to close that loophole. When we spoke to Vox Day about it, his response was simply, "don't bother"(?!). We do have an ace in the hole, however - and that's Chris. We'll follow up with a video soon!
